The NPS Trust is a National Charity dedicated to helping parrots and their owners.

Founded by Mr Steve Nichols in 1994 in Sheffield, England, the group moved to its present Lincolnshire site in the year 2000.

Initially created as an advisory service taking in telephone calls from parrot owners around the local area, the charity soon grew into a National call centre assisting people and their parrots from all over the globe, now taking more than 100,000 emails enquiries and over 30,000 telephone calls on an annual basis it is easy to see why it's the leading parrot advisory charity.

It works alongside and supports the only dedicated parrot rescue holding a zoo licence in the UK, The Parrot Zoo which in turn is used by all the major UK animal charities and police forces as a holding centre for unwanted parrots and parakeets.

Although the charity is growing annually the fundamentals remain the same, to make sure no parrot or parrot type suffers needlessly through lack of education.
